Visit to Bedford

Left Worthing at 9:00am and arrived in Bedford at 1pm. After a great lunch and time to set up the band headed to the town shopping area for an outdoor concert. Many people listened and some good contacts were made.
After arriving back at the Corps a small group went to visit the John Bunyan museum. Others rested at the Corps or walked into the downtown area.

The concert went well. A packed house showed their appreciation several times as the band performed superbly. Many had traveled distances to come and hear the band. Mark and Andrew's sale pitch at the intermission had the crowd laughing (and certainly wanting to buy CDs). Andrew "wowed' the crowd with his bass solo. There were several dignitaries present including the Mayor of Bedford who has not accepted invitations to Army events prior to this evening.

A great evening. The band is representing the Lord and Montclair Citadel superbly!
